Responsibilities

The guild manages both adventurers and monster farmers. Their goal is to prevent monster abuse and protect the dungeon ecosystem while still allowing dungeon divers to use it for resources, pleasure, and employment.

Dungeon divers who abuse the privilege of entering the dungeon by over-hunting or otherwise committing mass disruption to the ecosystem will be barred from entering all dungeons under guild supervision. To enforce this, the guild has checkpoints at every known dungeon entrance and ensures that there is a guild hall within walking distance of every checkpoint.

The guild offers training and classes for anyone wishing to enter the dungeon for free. While they do not provide equipment, all guild workers are equipped to advise new dungeon divers. Dungeon guides are experienced dungeon divers with survivalist skills employed by the guild to regularly search the upper levels of the dungeon to find and rescue injured or lost people.

When an individual offers a quest through the guild, the guild is responsible for ensuring the quests offer fair compensation and are properly rated for the amount of risk involved.

Farms are subject to regular inspections. Any monsters suspected of being abused are immediately taken to the guild's barn while the guild investigates. The guild holds classes for prospective farmers, and background checks are expected. The guild will sell rescued monsters to other farmers only if they believe the monster will be happy with its new owner.
